A sensor for steering the wine alcoholic fermentation
Result of a partnership between a school, an engineering firm and a distributor working closely together, the Oenopilot probe and the associated software Wine-Pilot allow for the automatic tracking and steering of the alcoholic fermentation according to the oenologist specifications.
Investing in such a tool has many benefits:
- Time savings of in the control of the fermentation;
- A more frequent measurement, combined with a temperature measurement;
- An ideal traceability, source of information for a permanent refining of the winemaking method;
- A predictive management of the fermentation, with for example of puming over programmed according to the progress of the fermentation;
- A reliable automated measurement method at a reasonable cost.
